I got a trophy the other day for Uncharted 2 that was an in-game trophy only... as far as my user trophies it didn't count. I was totally pissed lol. But I love the trophy system. I think playstation really needs to update the profile system and community interactivity, but I'm now a PS3 "fanboy" (I guess) lol. Used to hate Sony then played PS3 and I'm totally hooked... they just need community improvement IMO :)

That's the shittiest rebuttal I've ever seen jang. The PS3's Trophy system is identical to the 360's Achievements, only instead of a number in the multi thousands, we're looking at ranks with numbers below 100.

I think it was wise of Sony to try competing with Microsoft's Achievements, but to blatantly copy and paste the concept over like this is just lame. It is nice that Sony at least gave publishers the ability to patch Trophies into older titles, though.

wow, emokid, that's pretty smart of you to judge something before you study the other systems that had certain features before the 360 copied them I am of course talking about the PSP. PSP had music and downloadable games and a xrossmedia bar which was rather ingenious for such a small system and possibly the first of it's kind. The xbox 360 has something similiar to the xrossmedia bar and other neat features that are similiar to the ps3's wii's psp and ds and other past and future consoles.
