@Licmycat The amount of distances between any aliens and us are vast. Star trek has warped peoples minds into thinking we could visit a planet a week. Even with the most crazy advanced tech, it would take decades to reach our nearest star and most likely hundreds of years to reach another civilization. With our current technology it would take a million years or so to reach another civilization.
