Haha! Before rubbishing the Vedic system, you should at least find out what the scriptures actually profess, rather than what is practiced in the society right now. You will find multiple references regarding the prohibition of birth-based caste. Also, please consider the teachings of prominent saints like Tukaram, Sri Ramanujacharya, and Sri Madhavacharya. Did these personalities preach birth-based caste or preach against it? Think with a cool, objective head, and give up unnecessary hatred.

i know u have posted this post a three months ago.... can u please throw some light on what references u r talking abt.... who prohibited birth based caste system? as far the saints u r talking about... i doubt very much they did so. they were far more tangled up with their BHAKTI YOG and themselves to do that actually.
