@27andypandy Well, HE(thats me) Would have had more time in video chopping the rest of the related videos to look that good that I would have had in doing the swap. Have you ever done an engine swap? Its not rocket science. If it physically fits, mount it in there and wire it up.

Check my other videos. It ran a 12.80 on low boost with a slipping transmission. My 12's goal was met. It had way more in it, but the setup has been pulled and the car retired. The ol' gal got to die a 12 second car.

why ppl complain about this swap and when some idiot puts an LS1 in another import car it seems to them like something awesome? It's great swap and it's cool so stop hating.
My reason being I love the power of my Supra and need another vehicle with the same power to drive in the rain and snow without concern for wrecking it. The Supra never goes out when it even looks like rain and is parked in the garage from October until April. The Tbird will be driven year round, rain or shine. More importantly though, 'I want to.' I have the ability, the money, and the will to get it done. Some people talk, others get the job done.

This swap exemplifies the concept of hotrodding. I love it when folks complain when an engine from one automaker is swapped into a car from another. People were doing that to old Fords and Chevys back in the 50's. It doesn't matter what car you think the engine belongs in. This guy wanted to put an an engine he liked into his car and he did it. I don't think the Thunderbird chassis is better than a Supra chassis but that really isn't the point.
well maybe he videoshopped a supra motor into a thunderbird

thats not a 2jz..its a supercharged stock motor..you could hear the supercharge as he's giving it gas. a 2jz would take a lot more gas to spool up
