The reason she got off is because the prosecution went for murder one, which has onerous requirements of premeditation for a conviction. The evidence didn't support a conviction for murder one. Takes a specially indoctrinated person to inject race into this case.

The sentencing discrepancy between men & women is more than TWICE that of the discrepancy between whites & all other races. The fact she is a woman is why she got let off. During the trial, they were even looking for "the male" to peg with all the blame, finally settling on her father & brother via totally unproven accusations of sexual assault. Society lets women's crimes slide & society slides as a result. STANDARD.

Last week here in Serbia we had a tragic case as well.A mother of two children,a boy and a girl about the same age (3-5 years old),threw them of the balcony from their appartment that was on the 5th floor, and then she jumped aswell. The little girl was the only survivor.The father was abroad when this happened. Now, every single news-media that published the story suggested that she probably was a victim of domestic abuse, even though they had no evidence.Final conclusion? Victim of patriarchy.

That poll is actually not as bad as I thought. You also have to remember this sample was taken from registered voters. I wouldn't be surprised if the percentage was higher if polled from non-registered voters, maybe reaching 50%.
