No matter your opinion of what Cane has done, you have to admire the way he's prepared to stand in front of a bullet for Lily. He went in to full protection mode as soon as he saw she was in tears - yes they were happy tears but he wasn't to know that - and he was ready to tear Malcolm a new one. The writers need to get back to these kind of scenes. Any fool can see they are a Supercouple in the making and we need the writing to reinforce that not run away in the other direction.
