I hope You remember to Huns. The west try to delete a lot of true history, try to kill us... but never can if we believe with our tradition. Yes, they say we are Hungarians in Europe, and do not have brother or sister folk.. but WE KNOW... Türks, Tatárs, Center-Asia is our old home.
Did you hear how we speak in Hungarian? Similar to Mongol, Turkey, Chinese, Sanskrit.
Very old language. Our folksongs just like yours... far away..
This is such a beautiful masterpiece, I cannot believe that I'vent seen this before. It's like an ruthless storm throwing all my emotions around inside me just to make them blast out in form of tears, smiles and satisfaction.
Bunu youtuba yukleyene cok tesekkur ederim, herkese sevgimi ve saygımi iletirim.
Singing along, while having no idea what they are saying/singing.. thats how great this song makes me feel.. wow.. i just hope how much they are appreciated..
This cultural crossroads is just BEAUTIFUL - taking two diverse talents from opposite sides of the globe - just shows you if we WANTED TO all WANTED TO we could live well and live in peace -- so very very beautiful (and vampires apparently enjoy Tuvian throat singing too!)
At times it sounds like there are about 12 people and I know it's only 2 with instruments, but wow! I saw the movie when it came out, and I'm a fan of Bjork as well, she does have throat singers on her last album. I need to get some DVD's, not just mp3's I want to hold the music in my hands and feel it. I wonder if they have this written down in music terms? Sheet music what must that look like, What would Mozart have composed if he could do this? Oh my possibilities are enormous!
I see striking similarities to our bluegrass sounds, bagpipes and didgiriedoos..(sp) I am in awe of the ability these men have. I haven't searched for women throat singers, I wonder what that would hold. I would like to hear a duet, male and female voice. This is hauntingly universal.
This is becoming my favorite tune ever. I was amazed the first time i heard sygyt and kargyraa, and thought it was cool. Then i heard this song and Artii Sayir, which was unbelievably beutiful. When i found out what the text meant, i loved it even more.
I love this music, long time ago I bought their cd and sinds them I love Mongolian songs. They both show how culture is a universal human gift expressed in different forms and esay to share.
greetings from Hungary.

Thanks, CD and DVD seem to be out of delivery, I enjoyed the film in 2003, and realized one year ago that Paul Pena left us in 2005.
RIP!!!

¿Who would have imagined such a beautiful contact for music of isolated cultures?
Blues master Paul Pena and throat singing master Kongar-ol Ondar
An example for the humanity that of these two musicians...
only there is a word to describe it: amazing
