  • I used this recipe recently, with a couple of minor substitutions. I thought it wouldn't be very good--it looks good in the video, but I'm not a very experienced cook. But it was amazingly tasty!

  • @Bananadine

    HI

  • @SuperVeggieDelight I didn't think it looked dull, I just thought I would mess it up. :)

  • Hello!

how long did you cook daal with palak in it?? I thought you were going to cover it once again to cook palak?

Does palak not require pressure to cook fast?

    thanks for the response! :)

  • @tiwarivikram

    Hi

  • I didn't know what moong dal or green gram was...so I looked it up only to find out it's mung bean...lol. You should have referenced it as split mung bean, it's more commonly known than green gram.

  • hi bhavana can i replace chana daal?

  • @nimishasraj2009

    HI

As I said in video, yes, you can. YOu can use chana, masoor, or even Tuvar...

  • Hi sister, very nice recipe..why dint you add spinach while cooking moong dal ? Any specific reason? thanx a lots..god bless you n your family...:)

  • @asianlite6

    HI

I don't like my spinach overcooked. If you boil with dal then spinach will blend completely with dal and my family don't really like that...so it'r really your preference. If wish you can.

  • very nice! mouthwatering!

  • Hi Bhavna, what happened to you, looking so tired, especially between 0.47 to 0.51. It was a rare delight to see you present the preparation with glowing, cheerful face; but today I felt something is missing. Whatever it is, may God give you bountiful of happiness and joy all through. Bye
