when you said before loosening the adjusters to mark where they were. What does that mean specifically. Sorry if this is a dumb question just never done this work before.
@MrSikwithit Actually my fault, I sorta didn't explain that in detail. You see up the throttle cable there are 2 plastic things that you can spin. Just look at where the position of the knobs are. These knobs can lengthen or shorten the length of the outer cable to provide enough throttle slack. Too tight and you can have a high idle, too loose and you won't reach WOT. The user manual should explain this a bit better.
@DarkFlight600 Yea, you probably don't have to do it for a while. Mine was still smooth, but not as smooth as I liked it. My bike is at around 55,000 kms.
let me guess are you planning on getting the bike out this Thursday. I know the weather in TO is suppose to be around 11 - 13 degrees. I know I am even if it is only to go around the block

I had this problem before, I open my throttle handle bar side and put a 2 stroke oil on it, my bike was a four stroke machine

how often should you lube the clutch and throttle?

@DrifterErik I normally do the clutch around 5000kms. The throttle at around 10,000kms.

@WildBill1006 Yep, my goal is to get it out on Thursday. Hoping to do a highway run though cuz I need to re-calibrate my speedometer.
