  • Dear shotscience, please help. Im a 6 ft. 14 yearold who made his middle school basketball team and wants to go on to play high school, college, and maybe even NBA. im skinny but am not in shape. I want to be able to dunk, shoot, layup, post up and everything else. So my shot isnt that bad except i have no flick in my shot and when i try 2 my fingers on my flicking hand go on top of the ball and it brings the ball down and i keep hitting rim. Also i wanna get some handles.plz and thank you.

  • @BazhoFromTheHood There are videos on our channel which explain them. A video on DOT drills, and two vertical jump videos. Check them out!

  • @ShotScience Recently I have gotten to be the fastest person on my basketball team, but now whenever I get a running start on my layups; I have no problem getting to the rim, but when I get there the ball bounce of the backboard to hard. Do you know anyways for me to get a softer touch on my layups?

  • @Thedarkestofthedark1 This is a common problem! Figure that your running at 10 miles per hour on this run-up and if you are shooting the ball with your hand behind the ball (typical layup), that speed is transfered to the back of the ball. If you will shoot underhand layups in this situation there is very little run-up speed transferred to the back of the ball and it will be much softer! Try it! You will like it!

  • @ShotScience when I cut in to take a shot,I'll feel panic and miss the shot, what should I do now coach?

  • @yeohkj1 You obviously have a fear of failure! So what if the shot misses! In typical basketbal you will miss 5-6 out of 10 shots. If you are thinking; "I hope it goes in" as opposed to:"That one is down" then you need to change your thinking. Always think positive when you shoot and don't dwell on the bad that "MIGHT" happen. Come on now, let s get positive.

  • @ShotScience I love your videos I'm so glad I found your channel you guys helped me make my school basketball team without your tipmas vids and 101 vids I had a slimmer chance but now I'm team captain and point gaurd don't stop making awesome videos -Go Lady Dragons basketball team 2012-

  • For how many days will i have to practise to increase my vertical leap if i buy ur book? And How many hrs per day? And,if i practise regularly, the how much will my jump increase...Pls reply coach!! Thanx :D...Caz i am thinking to buy ur handbook!

  • @MegaBasketballRox Go to our YT channel page and check it out for yourself.

  • @ShotScience Your videos helped my shot a lot thanks guys really appreciate it!

  • @TreyAragona We are really pleased to hear that we have been able to help you out.

  • Coach!!!! I"m buying Vertical Jump Handbook tomorrow!!! I'm so happy!

  • @BazhoFromTheHood Bazho, we are happy for you. Remember these things. You have to follow the program and do all of the exercises called out even when you are really tired. Improving your vertical is a matter of spending the time to develop the muscles through stretching, foam rolling and loading of these important muscle groups. Keep us up to date on your progress.

  • @ShotScience ok coach i will remember that, but for some reasons i am going to buy Vertical jump handbook this weekend and i will keep you updated.

  • @BazhoFromTheHood Let us know how you are doing after week three.

  • @ShotScience what equipment do i need ?

  • @BazhoFromTheHood just the stuff from the videos or an equal substitute. If you don't have it, be creative!

  • yeah i would really like if you did a vid on the the different fouls or infractions

  • @Dubster58 This will be pretty far down the list of things we will do, but we will add it to our list and thanks for your request.

  • Could you please make a video that shows and explains all kind of fouls that cn be made.

    especially travelling.

  • @DerElfteElf Well, traveling is not a foul! It is an infraction of the rules. Your idea is an interesting one and we will give it some thought. Thanks.

  • it was great thanks for answering my questions

  • @Denielgunz Thanks to you for joining us and stay tuned to all of our locations for more vids and info.

  • @ShotScience Will you guys ever do a tutorial for the shake n bake jamal crawford move?

  • Will it be free?

  • Will the app be free

  • crap vocle is not avalible in Sweden :(

  • I want to exercise constantly but I just don't have a place where to work on my skills.... :(

  • Please help me out. I am kind of desperate. I do not have any place to practice my basketball skills. For example, if I want to dribble, I need to go outside - but there my hands are freezing and I cannot even feel the ball. What should I do?:(

  • What can i do to make my basketball overall skills better if i have a bruised bone on my right knee? The bruised bone caused my to not tryout for my freshman year highschool /:

  • i used some of your tricks in my game today!

  • Who's going to be there?!?!? (Reply here and thumbs this up!)

  • @ShotScience I am.

  • fifteenth!

  • @MrJErkTWirk nice ;-)

  • Hey shotscience, kinda off topic, but I was playing basketball one time and I got a rebound and a friend of mine hacked me on the back bad as I was in the air. I felt a sharp pain in my lower back and it didn't bother me afterwards. I thought that was it after that, but the pain returned a couple months after. It hurts slightly everytime I jump now and I sometimes wake up sore on my lower back. What should I do?

  • @Fiteduhpowarr you should probably see a doctor! We don't have any expertise in this kind of thing and you should always get checked out by a doctor if you're feeling pain like this.

  • @Fiteduhpowarr You definitely have to check with the doctor. If you're still in your puberty, this could probably damage the growth plates at your lower back!

  • Awesome !!!!!!!

  • @shoesrme11 we sure hope so!!

  • I have a question

I'm 5'9 in eight grade. I'm pretty Chubby but i can get around the court. What I want to no is how do i compete when i don't no my real position. I have the height of a Sg / Sf but I have the body of a Pf. What can I do? Please Respond

  • @oara555 positions aren't necessarily written in stone. You should play where you're most effective and that's impossible for us to know if we've never seen you play. Body type doesn't dictate where you play either. Magic Johnson wasn't a forward and he's 6'9".

  • @ShotScience Thanks

  • App for android too?

  • @WizzCudd eventually, we would hope

  • Is there anyway for me to watch a rebroadcast of the stream? I have a game at that time but I also want to watch the stream.

  • @NotLmfao usually you're able to watch them on Vokle a little while after the broadcast

  • 4th!

  • @firzen824 almost got it

  • no tip #10?

  • @Funpants94 Tip #10 is coming up! We still want to do a live show!

  • what is the average grade a person becomes able to dunk?

  • @moez3adam we have no idea on that one

  • LAST!

  • @TheWeaselCake okay...
