There's no such thing as "latin style" hustle. This hustle is a variation of the swing and it was first started during the disco era of the 70's and early 80's. The first hustle had simple steps which made it easy to learn and do. Then the syncopation and other intricate steps and movements were added. Hustle is hustle as long as a bit of the basic steps are included. Albeit, this is good dancing but it just a hustle. The "line hustle" is a variation of the salsa done in line formation.

@IX19UT8O I have noticed several messages you posted on videos label "Latin Hustle', in which you claim, "There's no such thing as Latin Hustle". That is a false claim. Please remove those posts. I am authoring a Latin Hustle Wikipedia article, utilizing a great volume of source documents that are period as well as interviews with pro dancers from that period to support my statements with citation. Please research future claims from multiple original sources before making such statements.

Latin Hustle is THE BEST!!! It's nice to see hustle dancers who know true latin body movement, rather than just going through the motions with poor (fair at best) posture and dance frame technique. Newsflash: Knowing 8,462 steps, and not technically perfecting a single one of them, is honestly nothing to brag about. THESE dancers, in THIS video, on the other hand, CLEARLY dance more than JUST hustle! THAT multi-dimensional characteristic is what truly makes them shine!!! BRAVO!

First it was great. Two wonderful dancers. 95 % of dancers could never master those lifts. I used many of them in competition and I must say my 94 pound partner as good as she was couldn't touch this girl. If the girl looks that good her partner must be very good. Yes its choreographed all most all great routines are. It takes endless practice and lots of talent to put this together. These aren't street dancers. These are real dancers.

Excellent! It's about time to see some good hustle dancing on utube. Most choreographed dance can't be done with anybody, thus, it's just showmanship. This dance for the most part can be done with anybody. It's the real deal. Good job.
