Yeah the other ones had the electric attack but these are faster, stronger. They swarm you. If you get caught in a pool of husks youre pretty much dead.
"These arn't the same creatures I fought on Eden Prime. They are more advanced, evolved" Garrus - "Yeah these ones have new character models. Mass Effect was three years ago, the old models would look pretty dated now"... Sheps - "So how come they don't do that electricity thingy anymore" Garrus - "Fuck knows"
you know ME2 claimed quite a few things were "more advanced" but every time they claim it I gota call BS. Husks in ME1 had an electrical attack that fried your whole party's shields leaving you vulnerable. Weapons in ME1 would simply over heat and refuse to fire until they cooled down, but you could always use your weapons no having to gather up heat-syncs to keep them firing. Dont get me wrong by adding heat-syncs they made the game more of a shooter but lets be realistic, its less advanced
@EMPPT These don't make that blast but i think they are just more sustainable. I mean, they can get very close to you, instead in Mass effect 1 i shot them far away and they never get close eneugh to do that blast or punch me.

They aren't more advanced. The ones in ME1 launched a electric blast that made hell of a damage.

Why the heck collectors need husks if they only need to make the reaper?
opianista81 2 years ago
Because they already had the husks from the beginning? Because they're reaper creations?
JediElderNishmo 1 year ago
@opianista81
Because they make good bantha fodder (expendable infantry).
