im just learning.. my recond of holding a wheelie is like 5secs.. hehehe! =p still a newb.. but im trying.. just bought an 06 fireblade.. so it should be possible =D in some months\years maybe ill manage 15-20secs :p

@m3g yes i start on 1st or second doesnt matter. 1st is a bit jumpy. on this bike i used to get it up on 3rd without slippin clutch. its whether your bike has enough power but a cbr1000 is about the same so should be no problem.you'll get used to it just keep trying

Exactly. Every gear. Everyone else on Youtube that has an R1 just wheelies in 1st or 2nd. Impressive. I have an 03 R1. and every gear isn't an issue. Nice riding.
