spore creator have stated that humans are not possibly to create, first because it would be weird for humans to born from an egg, :P and other stuff i dont remember; but, as it happened in other maxis games, they believe players will be so dammt smart they will create something like humanoides, as they are so creative

I have seen a lot of people wondering if you can live underwater and fly. Yes i think you can fly (but maybe not for long periods of time) and im 90% sure you can make an underwater city because will said so in a demonstration but it may be wrong

well sooner or later some creatures will go extincnt, but if you really want to you could move some of them to other planets to prevent that. thats also assuming its inhabitable, but if it isn't you could give it an atmosphere if need be...... this is also comming for the DS, and i don't think it looks that bad. its a scaled down version but you still have the full creature editor.

Hopefully you can convert these models, and their skeletal animations to 3DS so that you can put it in your other games. Its just so creative i cant stress that enough.

Im gunna make a blue one with Some kind of irritant on its hands and body. (if it gives you that choice in the editor) and I will make it have, "hair", but up close its really little spikes that if it jabs you, you will get hurt badly. It also makes it uncomfy to eat.
