The best part about Princess Juliana airport is when they take off towards the water. Most of the time, they will take off to the East (the way this plane is landing), but every once in a while you'll see one take off to the West (over the beach).

Actually it is a real airport. Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maartin in the Caribbean. I used to live there and have stood right there many a time. There is a great beach bar almost where the camera man was standing

Any aircraft with a CAT 3 autoland can have the autopilot land the aircraft right down to the 50 feet roll out flare, and TNCM (this airport) has an ILS on that runway which allows for an autoland. Next time slovely08 - learn what you're talking about.

There is no ILS system at this airport. It is visual only. If you have found a website that says there is one, show it to me.

Flight simulators don't count because you can program it to have an ILS system, I know this because I have done it.

This is taken is Saint Martin. The end of the runway is right close to the beach. Being on the plane and landing is a trip too.All you see outta the window is water as your getting closer to the ground, then all the sudden you touch down on the runway.Almost feel like your gonna land in the water.

no i wouldn't doubt this is real, I know a place in Toronto, Canada (I think it's toronto, could've been Sault S.t Marie actually :P) anyways and there's this parking lot right a cross the street from the end of the runway. Humungous planes always go RIGHT over top a little building that houses a few small businesses, then across the street and onto the tarmac. Just imagine something exactly leik in the video, excet where the beach is, instead it's a parking lot and buildings.

Its the number one reason people come here to see this, and its not as dangerous as it looks just the angle of the camera... there is a good 50 -75 ft from plane to road..
