  • where can i download this for free?!

  • Kid cudi took this track, rolled it up into a big fat blunt, lit it up using a flame thrower, and smoked the fucken living greens outta the bitch!

  • the song is good but cudi gangsterd this song

  • Simple as that, for your simple ass.

  • CUDDDEERRRRR

  • Bad video quality. But I´ve seen this performance live in Dortmund in May 1983, it was one of OMDs best concerts. Brilliant show to "ABC Auto Industry" -a song never could play live.

  • You had to hand it to them. They'd released their masterpiece Architecture & Morality two years earlier to massive critical and commercial aclaim and then recorded Dazzle Ships which confounded both critics and the public! They played this live on the DS tour but eventually dropped it as they kept missing their cues to start the next song, Genetic Engineering! This is brilliant though.

  • damn, wack dude, i hate when artists don't do a damn thing different to a track and say "sampled"

  • brilliant

  • tell a bitch get gone with her simple ass.

  • Sarcasm at its best.

  • wats da name of the kid cudi sample??

  • Simple As...

  • aahahahhaha

  • straight sampled on one of kid cudi's songs...

  • things that stop you in your tracks. this does that and captures the reality of evolution in a way that makes me almost go pop.

  • The last brilliant album they made. They jumped the shark after this.

  • Brilliant, Thank-you for posting my favorite song from this album. It sums up the love/hate relationship with technology and the so called modern world.

The entire album is haunting, poetic, and beautiful. It is refined and rare remaining as potent today as it did years ago. Bravo.

  • AMAzing period , NATH LOrda MaKeuP ArTist

  • Dazzle Ships is one of the greatest albums of the 80s. The great unwashed couldn't get their heads around it tho.

  • Just..1,2,3..

    Late 80-`s..

  • Is this "The Tube"?

  • Yes, 1983

  • I love this song , it is totally inovative and cool as hell.

  • How audacious were they! It's scary to think that this is so old yet could easily be something produced yesterday. Nothing like it anywhere. Genius.

  • Blew me at the time, blows me now. This album was just bliss. Shame hardly anyone got it. Imagine where they'd have gone with their sound if it had been successful. Not saying what they did after wasn't just as beautiful, but it would have been interesting to see what could've been

  • djbethell, your comment is so right. So many times I wondered what would have followed if this album had sold better. OMD were at the right path and it looked like they could have gone further up! Unfortunately "Dazzle Ships" closes Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 was beautiful pop but safe. The first 4 albums are all classics in every detail. Sound, lyrics, sleeve and stage set design,an amazing marriage of avant garde, experimentation and pop.

  • Hallelujah! I'm taking a trip to that other dimension with ya'

  • Heard this on BBC Radio 2 (Stuart Maconie and Mark Radcliffe) and had to find it! Thanks for posting it. Fantastic!

  • thank you beamergeezer! it's my pleasure to post it! brilliant album, the whole "Dazzle Ships"!

  • Still love this record - after all those years.

    Thanks for posting.
