The song playing at 2:13 is called "Concrete And Clay" performed by the UK pop group called Unit 4 + 2 from Hertfordshire, England. Released early 1965.
My first job was a clerk at the BBC, in those days we were based in the Langham, now the hotel. My desk was in what is now the ballroom. I sat in the studio one night midnight to 2am on a Keith Skues show and colleague.
My big moment when Keith put our mike on we preteneded to be studio cleaners wanting to get home. A whole 10 secs. Anyway, someone phone in and complained. "I pay my licence not hear cleaners!!!"

When I think of Radio Caroline I'm automatically reminded of Ralph MacTell singing 'the streets of London'. Happy memories eh!
