Fairly new to the youtube game.  Just got this little gem as I was about to post:

Enter the text in the image to continue posting.

Oh no! 6 comments and I'm maxed. This should be an interesting experience.

Drop a cursor in the box next to the distorted letters. Type out what you see. Hit the submit icon. It will tell you that your submission is wrong. Not true. Scroll down. It will say something like "Post A Text Comment." At that point you may click on that and keep commenting until you get the message again. Then you only have to enter the text again and keep on going. The software tries to discourage you. All you need to do with it is be persistent!

Nope. I think it latched onto my user name and

keywords in the title like Yukon or Alaska or Bonus. As soon as that was posted, it found the Pavarotti track again and sent out an automated message even though the Pavarotti track is allowed everywhere. I remade the video with more pictures, a better soundtrack,

and so on. It should go up as soon as I've waded through two days' worth of email, some sixty items...

Its telling me this and I used thier audio swap program. (In testtube at bottom of page) I tried to add new audio swap from youtube and it says "audio swap fail" and my notice is still there. Maybe you can try audio swap music ad see what it does and let us know.

If I can download their audioswap music and mix it into my videos I don't mind trying it. It's just that I always pick the music that I already listen to when I'm putting videos together. I still have some disc space for whatever music they have, but my soundtracks are often mixed with music, voice from the camera and voiceovers. A straight audio swap would probably take out all my sound and put

in YouTube authorized music, and nothing but!

That would bite bigtime...

If poster does not respond to warnings in one week's time, pull material that infringes on

copyright owner's copyright and policy.

That's how it should be done.

What they did:

If music matches, block comments.

If copyright owner's policy allows use of material, block comments, nag poster. else, block comments, nag poster.

If poster pulls video, do nothing. else, nag poster until he does.

I'm no computer programmer, and I can figure out the logic. I wonder where YouTube gets its programming talent from. Maybe they headhunt staff from Microsoft! Hmmmm...

same thing here my account pookeo9 was suspended for posting 10 family guy videos. youtube better smarten up with this stupid copyright infrigement.

Your case is a bit different. Those cartoons you put up are wholly copyrighted and totally owned by a copyright owner. You didn't have a hand in creating any of that material. Steve recorded a concert. That may be considered bootlegging. I guess Genesis may have footage of that concert and decide to release a DVD of it someday. So it goes. If you used a few seconds of that Tv show in an original video, you might be OK, but you were asking for it posting those long segments...

My video was made by me. I took all the pictures with my own 35mm Camera. I have all the negatives and the CD's made from the negatives, and my pictures are on my hard drive. I added the music to enhance the experience of the pictures. The real story is that while we were on that trip, my dad bought a cassette with Pavarotti singing Funiculi Funicula, and he played it over and over while we drove the Alaska Highway. I was quite sick

of it during the trip, but all these years later I love it!

Ridiculous! What if I were to put up a video of some unknown band? What if YouTube exposure was something that they needed to jumpstart their career? I found out about a lot of bands and artists from the Internet, and purchased their music. What if I'd never heard of Genesis? A lot of the younger crowd hasn't, I bet. Getting you to pull those vids is like depriving the young of an education!

I made several vids like that. I'm about to put up a playlist of taxi vlogs one of these days, and if you go through the playlist that I will put up, you'll be able to tell from the comments which ones involve weird customers. I'm guessing that about half of them will contain stories about customers...
