I noticed some of the comments on Mike using that synth sound. To those who replied negatively, you honestly have to listen to Prince to truly understand why that patch is so deadly, especially in this song. To those wondering how to get that sound, you'll need a JV 1080 (gotta get it used from ebay or craigslist). Select the Hugo Bass patch (Bank B, Patch No. 32). Change the parameters from SOLO to POLY. Turn up the modulation as high as you see fit (max will result in distortion). God bless!!!

@andalite24 its not a motif they have a rack there they mix roland sounds in.. but what i do on motif is mix powergrand with vintage74(tweek the sound so it had more attack) and a sythy brass sound.. turn up the modulation wheel and ull get taht scream

I have fallen in Love with this church. I have to listen to this song and look at some of the praise breaks almost daily. It reminds me so much of my church which is St. John Primitive Baptist Church where the great Elder Benjamin Adams is the leader, preacher, and Teacher. Keep the services comin they are GREAT!
