@armaneee Dick Smith created a lot of the techniques used with Foam Latex now (although Silicone is more widely used instead).
It was largely becasue foam latex shrinks during baking, so a larger appliance shrinks more.
Also, it is easier to apply smaller pieces, and should any air bubbles or steam collapse occur in manufacture, then a small appliance is replaced or repaired rather than a large mask size piece.

I'm guessing it was Prosaide..use only with Prosaide remover!! ..or you AINT gettin it off Spirit gum is hardly used at all anymore...
