@19saxman91 Well that could be to do with the fact that of the many student saxes out there, most are Yamaha- meaning they are, for the most part, in the hands of students. A Selmer in the same hands would not make a huge difference for many I'm afraid. :)

@sakonhon That is only because Yamaha horns tend to be cheaper and more affordable than Selmer horns. Also, Selmer doesn't usually put their name on student horns, Bundy horns are made by Selmer (though I am sure that you know that). In my opinion though, I still think Selmer is superior to Yamaha. However, Yamaha still makes a great product.

Because now I using a YAMAHA 5C MP. and Selmer S80 MP. Vandoren blue box no. 3 1/2 Reeds with a Yamaha YBS-32 and then the sound be like him.
