We have opened a door but for now I still have to vote the lesser evil. That's very true, but at the end of the day, it's John McCain who's running for President and not Sarah Palin. As for the chances of McCain dropping dead in office, I'm not betting on it.

It is odd how Dr. Paul appeals to hardcore leftists like yourself (?) and paleocons like me. Regarding Palin most of what is out there is pure leftist smear jobs, she is a Goldwater conservative. IMO Obama represents a political worst case scenario. Beyond his desire to exponentially grow our government into an Orwellian socialist utopia Obama has no respect for the constitution. McCain has pledged to appoint strict constructionist Justices, Heller was only 5-4.

TOL, you may have just won me over. It often slips my mind how important Supreme Court appointments are. These have far more lasting effects than a four year presidency. As much as I dislike McCain, I may just suck it up this November and vote for him.

Ron Paul said on a CNN interview with Wolf that he got 1.2 million over the course of the primaries...that's no chump change and shows just how many people are sick of the status quo. If we could get all those people to join the revolution that would be a serious force to contend with.

That is 1.2 million VOTERS...He got Millions of dollars from individual voters, in small amounts, like I gave both $100 to his congressional and his presidential campaigns.....There are many more of us than the main stream media and the ruling party admit.

Yup, your right. I gave a couple of hundred dollars myself during the time with him raising tens of millions in one day. So as Ron said in his latest letter, if 1.2 million voted for him, there are many more who feel the same way that didn't vote.
