  • for those nonsayers, have you ever learned a foreign language? i guess not, because you have absolutely no idea how hard it is to achieve a level like that. he is one of the best two chinese adult english learners i have ever come across.

  • I guess only non native English speakers are fooled by this guy. His English is OK, but not native. His mis-pronunciation of "pronunciation" irks me to no end. It makes him sound uneducated. He is comfortable with the language and speaks it well, but his mis-pronunciations and grammar constructs gives him away.

"I came to Canada at the year 2000"

No native speaker would construct a sentence like that.

  • Man, you think you're hot? totally bullshit, there are many more Chinese who are perfect bilingual or tri-lingual, your English is just average not impresiive AT ALL, to be honest. So stop showing off, show your education diploma first, high school, I guess

  • I don't believe he started learning when he was 20. Only people who have never learned a second language would believe that.

  • I swear he's American. I hope my Mandarin can be as good as his English. Well, at least I understood 95% of this.

  • I think his English is just great. And believe me, it's not easy for anyone to get that profency in a language when you started learning it at the age of 20...

  • You should write a memoir.

  • I don't know if that's how Canadians act, but his mannerism is kinda funny. At least that's not how the people I know act (and by 'people' i mean northern American guys).

  • He doesn't sound Canadian because he speaks standard American English period.

  • this guy is great, he's better than my mom who has been speaking English ever since she was 19!

  • Are you kidding me? His English is amazing!

  • 天才

  • 很难想象他付出了多少努力,和老外完全一样是不太可能的,人家是20岁开始学的,说成这样真是的很少有

  • This guy is becoming a public figure among Chinese community in Toronto. There's something wierd about his pronunciation which is not american or british..No wonder he didn't learn English from a real person.. If I've been here for 7 years sure I'll "outspeak" you LMAO

  • @wangsishuo Are people so desperate in Canada....I mean he lived there for 7 years and his accent isn't that perfect .

If someone truly want to learn English in Canada, just go to the local orphanage or nursing home. You can practice your English and help people in the same time.

AND YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY FOR IT.

  • @keyeskey you dont know how difficult it would be when you came to another country at the age of 20+.to say is easier than to do.
