It's a pretty nice song, but way worse then the songs on their first albums. But I have to admit that I LOVE there new album [After Forever] but still it's a pitty they don't make albums like Decipher anymore ..

I miss Floor Jansen's operatic voice and Sander Gomman's death grunts. They hardly use those kinds of vocals anymore with their newer materials (Remagine,After Forever). But I still like them, it's just that I don't love them as much.

myself, I love both. I love the combination of opera & grunt voices. they use it so well. they do some in the new album (transitory etc.), but I know they changed a bit. estranged etc. are so freaking good art!

After Forever's music started to go down the hill since Mark Jansen left the band in 2002. After Forever started become a "sell out" since the release of Remagine. If you've been listening to their music since they started as a band (like I do), then u would notice that their first 4 albums didn't have their faces of the band members on the front cover.

ok, it works now. I just wanted to say that thea are good. Only that Nightwish have more "listenable" songs. Music is more fluent, that´s why they have that succes. And still, they have appeard after Nightwish (1997 first album), and After Forever(2000). Thats why Nightwish are more popular. But anyway, i like this band too.

I agree with the fluency part, but listenable? I'd laugh to see Walking in the Air placed in between random My Chemical Romance and Evanescence crap here in the US. Though one point: After Forever uses a LOT of guitars and drums compared to old Nightwish.

I see you're from Europe. Nightwish did try out for the Eurovision contest in 2000, and that might be a reason why they're more popular.

I still like both bands also.

are u deaf?! I used to love After Forever until . Now I think their just an o.k. band.Best album to-date (Prisoner of Desire)and worst album (Remagine). I mean some of their new songs have a few pop elements. Pop and metal don't go together. That's what I called nu-metal crap. I only listen to symphonic/operatic, goth,death, progressive, black metal!!

Nope my hearing is fine, and I like this song the same. i agree though that their older stuff was better, my favourite album was Decipher. This song just has kind of an eighties vibe and i like it, it's not my problem if you or others don't totally agree with me.
