I have a question: I have the EOS 50D and recently it started to work slower. When I hit the button, it takes 4-5 minutes or more to shoot. Sometimes it's not so slow though. I think that it happened after I used another CF card. Do you know how can I fix it? Is anything that is related with the firmwire or so? Thank you!

@Poolboyp You may have a bad CF Card. If you have another try it. Also make sure you have the latest firmware and the Cards are formatted for the camera.

@Poolboyp here is a link to the latest firmware. 1.0.7 it was released in July2009. Make sure you're using a fast enough CF Card. I know on my Canon 60D the specs state it must be over a Class 6 SDHC card.
Do a google search for updating firmware on canon 50d
