Subtle put out, what I believe to be four individually sold CD's all labeled a different season(i.e. Winter, blah, blah) which were eventually compiled into one CD, Earthsick. Earthsick does not have all of the songs from these four albums, but it does have Wallet Falls, the song at the beginning of this video. I'd go with Earthsick because I just checked Amazon for the individually sold EP's and the Winter album alone is going for $55.00. It is a great song live. Viva Themselves LIVES!

I like Anticon music. Sage Francis, Sole, Alias - But THEM Why and Dose...I really just can't stand there music. I think I like the other guys cause they sound like people. Dose...is just....well, it's an act I guess. I just can't get into it. Bought the Cloudhead CD tried to do it - I just can't get into it.
I find sage, sole and alias to be the most boring and because they seem to see theirselves as hiphops saviours, I find them annoying. I love cLOUDDEAD and most other stuff by the 3 artists in it, they do what they do without thinking "this is changing rap", it's more that they just enjoy it. Pity you can't get into it though, there's some worthwhile material there for sure.

If you're going base how good artist's are by the sound of their voice, then yes, "he sucks".
However, if you want to base how talented he is on only his skill, then he's one of the best if you ask me.
I guess it just comes down to what you're into. I try to hear beyond an artist's voice.

Subtle put out, what I believe to be four individually sold CD's all labeled a different season(i.e. Winter, blah, blah) which were eventually compiled into one CD, Earthsick. Earthsick does not have all of the songs from these four albums, but it does have Wallet Falls, the song at the beginning of this video. I'd go with Earthsick because I just checked Amazon for the individually sold EP's and the Winter album alone is going for $55.00. It is a great song live. Viva Themselves LIVES!

I sincerely hope you're not commenting on the longer clip of music called "It's Them", because 1) if you think the song has no content (no meaning), you should really listen to the whole song and try to think a little deeper on the lyrics. 2) Jel Logan plays the beat for the song BY HAND, meaning he doesn't just let someone else's beats roll, which is extremely credible. And, if you go on his myspace, you'll find he's quite good at "normal" hip-hop beats as well. Don't know what you don't know

I like Anticon music. Sage Francis, Sole, Alias - But THEM Why and Dose...I really just can't stand there music. I think I like the other guys cause they sound like people. Dose...is just....well, it's an act I guess. I just can't get into it. Bought the Cloudhead CD tried to do it - I just can't get into it.

I find sage, sole and alias to be the most boring and because they seem to see theirselves as hiphops saviours, I find them annoying. I love cLOUDDEAD and most other stuff by the 3 artists in it, they do what they do without thinking "this is changing rap", it's more that they just enjoy it. Pity you can't get into it though, there's some worthwhile material there for sure.
ps: dose's voice is barely an act, he sounds almost the same just more relaxed while speaking.

I understand, I know experimental anything isn't as accessible as the genre being toyed with, and I listen to a shitload more plain hiphop, real hiphop than anything else.
As for how sole seems to think he's moving hiphop forward? Well he sounds like he's in a battle all the time, he's a ugly, arrogant, sloppy looking redhead hiphop nerd yet he tries to be so gangster, but tries to reject being gangster at the same time... I don't know, maybe it's just me.

I've never heard a single thing from anything, music, interviews other people interviewing him, even diss records about him stating any relevance to gangster anything. I will agree on the nerd thing.
