  • great videos kevin! i enjoy your blog as well! i cant wait for your class!

  • does this mean that you won't show the electrical stuff on your channel? i can't afford to travel across the country in addition to a $400 seminar, but i have been enjoying your project. I just found and watched them all tonight. can't wait for the next one.

  • Kevin... I was given a wrong phone number from you ....Marcel the inventor of the ECO Urinal...I want to send you a urinal but i need your address....contact me emai9l..conservation_depot@hotmail.com

  • @1marceltony I just tried that email and it came back

  • I live in GA, so COOLING the tiny house is a big deal here. I don't see this discussed much by "tiny housers." Avoid direct sunlight perhaps? I'm just afraid in the summer months the house would get unbearably hot, especially in the sleeping loft area, which makes me think a "window unit" would be needed...and that certainly won't run off solar.

What sort of heat would you recommend? A small wood stove, propane, or just a quality space heater?

  • @TheDystopiaInside Ok so most houses big or little will need some supplemental heating and cooling in all but the most temperate climates.

The better the insulation the easier it will be to do. Yes under a tree will help and opening the windows to use the breeze or a fan .The nice thing is the micro house takes very little to cool or heat the space is small .

As far as heat any of the 3 are choices what is your preference and what is conducive to your area and lifestyle.I like wood heat

  • @TheDystopiaInside you must understand that a tiny house is the same as a full sized house when it comes to heating and cooling, unlike a natural material home, no tiny home is self regulating on the end of temperature, not knocking tiny houses at all, I build them here in Texas as well, but you will need some type of heating or cooling amendment to live "comfortably" in a tiny home, note the quotes!! Tiny homes are great and definitely worth the consideration!!

  • @TheDystopiaInside I bought a used 28ft 1970 argosy camper it is just like the air stream shiny skin. I got it for $2K the former owner just bought a new propaine refrigerator b4 he passed his family sold to first one with cash I was on the look out for one and jumped on this one. It comes well insulated has about an inch of foam they are insulated well enough to deal with AK temps. Just can't go wrong getting one of these used for this price people don't know their value. Ron Paul 2012.

  • @cdltpx This camper needs slight repairs to the bathroom IDK if I will go with camper stuff or just get off the shelf stuff and modify it to work I also want to wreck the living room and just have a recliner and computer roll table laptop setup make it for one person to be extremely comfortable. I want to make it entirely off grid but I live in 70769 and it gets too hot for that gotta have AC. I am so tempted to cover it in chicken wire and apply concrete to it and have a storm shelter.

  • Love your videos Kevin, I have to smile - you trying to keep warm, I've been working outside in heat of 38C today.:-)

  • @TommyR51 Thanks Tommy are you up north ?Cains?

  • @millionaire1963 Hey Kevin, no I'm in Adelaide, South Australia, we're in mid summer here.. You're workshop is a good idea, none of it is that hard once someone shows you how, and there is a lot of satisfaction from building your own place, or from passing the knowledge on. I'm sure it will be a success.

  • Thanks Kev for these videos on shed building and tiny homes. These are about the best videos on the net I come across. Very detailed, good stuff! This is type of competence a novice needs to pull the finger out and do some good work. Good Job!

  • @Super1dance Thanks I'm glad you like them.

  • Nice roof trusts, love the idea for more elbow room. Not sure about the other comments on the RV video, but I have enjoyed every bit of what your sharing with us. Push the edges and we are going to be here with you. Thanks for sharing.

  • @StraightEdgePrepper Thanks and your welcome.

  • It would be cool to see you actually removing some componants from an RV. I have a vague notion there are probably screws to undo, but that's as much as I can figure. Also, would be cool to see how you clean up old things that need it. That shower surround and pan look beautiful!

  • @Crunchy68 Thanks Virginia This will be fun.
