I don't like Paramore at all, but I thought I might clarify some of the confusion about the tuning. The song is in Drop D tuned down a half step (Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb), not standard tuning down a half step. You play it correctly in the video, but you gave the wrong note for the sixth string.

i can't read tabs or notes. i don't read music, i just play it by EAR. Just listening to the original is good enough, after or during, I pick up the guitar and just find what sounds right. I guess some ppl just need to be taught step by step right?

the more you play the thicker your callouses get andthe longer you can play, if you take big breaks between playing like over a weekm, your callouses will start to dissapear

@coldsausageable Yeah, what he said, but also, try playing with the absolute least amount of pressure while still getting a good full sound, that helps alot, just try it out. I use to only do this for fingerstyle guitar, but now I always do it :) It works great.
