@PIKAMONjake Thanks for watching/listening. I don't think much about the style of the songs I write. I just write them. I used to do more acoustic stuff, but it's a pain to record that way and so I usually stick with electric guitar and bass.

When I was 17, at Lake Havasu, my brothers and I were out on an impromptu hike. It lasted about 50 yards when he got too close to a rattler and we could hear it but not see it. Freaky stuff for folks from the burbs.
@RightArmProductions The rattlers do make me nervous. So far I've managed to see them in time, but there have been a few somewhat close calls. On the other hand, it's not like they're hiding around every corner just hoping to get a chance to bite someone. However, putting things into perspective, it's most likely much more dangerous to drive on a crowded and busy Southern California freeway than to go hiking, although in either case there are things one could do to push the envelope!
@kenrg Hikes are usually a lot of fun even without seeing much wildlife, but there's no doubt that seeing critters like the ones in the video definitely adds to the pleasure!
your songs seem a little less "hard", now they're more classic rock
