Pretty sure thats halo plasma fire there. This could be the start of a cross viral marketing campaign between Mass Effect & Halo 3. Look at the plasma fire & the sound of it in the background. Also her gun sounds like a machine gun from what they use in halo. The similarities are there.

Character models look nice in this game. Thats about it. That planet from the XO6 trailer looked like a boring dustbowl with robots and the combat looks like the game is struggling to balance an rpg and 3rd person tactical shooter. Bioshock owns it

The video is 15 seconds long and mostly of a woman(Ashley),some rocks + some sky. It is bad quality (intentional for transmission) and that is 1 place out of the entire galaxy being made ingame. Mass Effect is going to wipe the floor with Bioshock (although it does look good)

But how can you call Mass Effect (over 300 locations) generic when bioshock is set in one underwater place in the 1950s.

Lastly, looks aren't everything...rant over :D

You're right, Mass Effect is looking very generic. There are just way too many games out there that give you an entire galaxy to explore and reak havoc on. I mean seriously, what's up with that?
