@Dark6Mittens MvC 3 doesn't fit into Devil May Cry's timeline. Dante only met Trish after DMC 3, when he's much more serious and mature, and in this game, he's in his DMC 3 outfit. That said, they may well put Vergil in there.

Okay since people don't bother to read or look why they chose Trish. They picked her because team Capcom needed 1 more chick and they also said they chose her because she was sexy so they said why not. Plus Vergil is to similar to Dante so people who are dumb would get to confused. Plus why not Trish she is DMC's strongest girl and has Sparda. Plus she is able to do more abilities than the other DMC girls. So please quit complaining about her, if you don't like Trish then don't pick her .

I read they picked her because they need one more girl and a sexy one in a online article that was discussing why they put in 3 new characters. I think it's a good choice because its nice to see her in the spotlight and use Sparda in a game thats not DMC 2, and all her hidden abilities.

@GelidKing not at all, they have two very different fighting styles.... Vergil doesn't like guns he specifically and only uses summoned swords, also the weapon left to him by Sparda was the Yamato which is a katana meaning that Vergil uses very fast very precise battoujutsu strikes where as the weapon left to Dante was the Zweihander Rebellion....... So Capcom really should have added Vergil because actually his style is very different.
