I've actually done this before, back in middle school. Its not that I was hot, or couldn't just go home to my AC, its that I felt like having some fun. Take a risk, and I really wasn't thinking. I almost drowned, haha. I didn't even know how to swim, I just did it due to peer pressure. Even though I nearly died, I'm not gonna lie.. those 2 seconds of jumping was a memory I won't forget.

I don't know who's crazy idea it was to swim in those restricted waters, but i do know some dumb girl named Jazmine caused both of their deaths by throwing a log into the water so that Crystal can grab, so Crystal jumped into the water, struggled with the currents of the Bronx River, apparently drowning. David wanting to be the hero with Timberlands, and Crystal drowning, she unattentionally pulls David under to his sad, watery grave... R.I.P. Dave.........

My godson FDNY fireman Robert Cuccio jumped into the water immediately upon arrival, he did find the young lady but unfortunately it was too late for her. He brought her to the top and performed CPR, bless him for his hard work, at a job he loves.May she rest in peace.

David is my cousin's son and he will be greatly missed. We will always have you in our hearts and our mind. He was a great young man with many aspirations in life and dreams to achieve. He lost his life trying to save his friend Crystal and they both lost their lives. This has been a tragedy for us the family and friends.I know that you are in heaven with our heavenly God. They werent swimming, the girl jumped in and the boy went in to save her they both got caught under the current and no one could find him including his twin brother and father who went under to try n save them, there not retatrded they were smart caring boys, i went to high school with them, he died trying to save that young girl and now both familys have lost huge parts of there lifes.
i was there a couple of months ago. Theres signs and gates stating CLEARLY that there is no swimming or jumping... what surprised me is that parents bring their children as if it was meant to be swam at.
omfg i use to jump off that waterfall wit my friends n i remeber at that time a few yrz bak there were many adults yelling n upset wit my friends n i telling us we can drown,get hurt or dive in too deep and for those whom don't know underneath as u dive in iz like under a roof of rocks which make u stuck under them rocks..u dive in u might not come bak up..itz deeper alot deeper than it looks
@MizZaW0ckee yeah years ago like in 1970s i think my uncle told me he almost drowned there but he got out of it idk how. but its deep if some people cant swim then they should not go in. but thats why there a sign there now stating not to go in
