Well, I disagree. Martina was playing her best. She just struggled against Steffi's monstrous forehand and sliced backhand. Plus, Steffi served very well against Martina..
@herewegoagain2009 you can see Federer doesn't have the same motivation he did 4 years ago. I'm agreeing with you by the way. Federer wants to finish points early and doesn't want to get into long rallies. When he was younger, he wanted to finish points early too, but he didn't mind getting into a long fight. Now, he goes for winners when it's not there to be hit.
Martina was not playing her best....she hit about 12 Unforced Errors in the first 10 minutes of the third set......
Players aren't at their "best " at 32 years old.
