To all those Democrats who say they will vote for McCain in the fall let me just say this; I understand your passion for Sen Clinton but to cast a vote of spite towards en Obama would be punishing your children and grandchildren and denying them the freedoms we have previously fought for. A woman's right to choose, our right to privacy and civil justice, our rights as workers, consumers and global citizens. I urge you to give this a thought.
I find it extremely likely that all the people who said they would vote for Mccain if their candidate didn't get the nomination were full of shit and just trying to scare the party heads into taking their idle vote-withholding threats to heart. The trouble is they won't follow through, now that Barrack has all but secured the nomination I'm sure tha 98% of hillary supporters who aren't completely radical will suddenly ahve a change of heart and support Obama. I'm still impartial.
This is exactly the type of bickering that will let McCain slide into the white house. "I won't vote unless So an so is the nominee!" You remember they're both from the same party right? Fucktards. I'll hold you all accountable when Bush 2.0 takes the presidency.
you're so ridiculous you make me lol. you just understated why every obama supportor is voting for obama : "you clearly shouldn't vote on whether or not a person makes you feel good but the issues" But yet that's why most of obama supportors are voting for him, the 'change hope' talk makes them feel good. Never mind that he has no substantiative plan or experience. Just feel good change hope talk. Next you fail to recognize the fact that just as many obama supportors say the same thing on Mccain
you're right, Obama supporters are equally as dumb as McCain supporters, but they're supporting the "least bad" candidate by chance, nobody said otherwise, watch the vid again. "no substantive plan or experience"...no plan regarding what? explain, thats vague and generalized...and the no experience argument is absurd, experience means dick..."obama supporters say the same thing on McCain"...Obama supporters say what *on* McCain? (i assume you mean *about*, but thats nitpicking)
I am with you SecularTalk! This really makes me sick...Hillary and Barack are relatively the same on the issues... but when given the choice of GWB2 and Obama, some Hillary supporters choose GWB2!!! This is a horrible tactic, especially given the fact that we don't know who the running mate is!
First, your blogs, while often times interesting and insightful, are turning into a "Support Barack" blog thing, not the "Secular" issue thing that you started out, consider changing your profile description.
Next, Barack, and his followers, have come out and said that the reason that people should support him over Hillary, is because her supporters will support him, but his supporters won't support her in any election.
Also; Hillary supporters aren't the only ones taking this position
Hey Pillary!! Vince Foster wants to invite you for a BBQ/Last Supper!!!! I'm so excited for you!! PLEASE EXCEPT the invitation, you deserve it!!!! Think of it Girl, BBQ chicken on your TOAST!!!!!
John Edwards never proposed a withdrawal from Iraq, that is just lies.
None of the mainstream (corporate) Democratic contenders proposed single payer healthcare system, theirs are closer to Nixon's than other industrialised nations'.
John Edwards was the best of a bad bunch on corporate issues - that's really not saying much - and he was weak, he took just as much corporate money and refused to look at corporate personhood, the root of the problem.
Just looks at Obama's action! Obama voted for Dick Cheney's Energy Bill! He's a joke! Next, look at Obama's resume! He's barely out of college! He's got like a decade under his belt of actual experience holding office. And if that's not enough, then you SHOULD look at Obama's slogans! He says "yes we can," but how does that actually translate into the presidency? As the highest executive officer in the country, how exactly does Obama expect to organize the country or reform government?

How many Obamas does it take to screw in a light bulb?
None....they can't do it.....they just stand around in the dark saying YES WE CAN,
YES WE CAN,I HAVE HOPE,WE CAN CHANGE....THE LIGHTBULB.
That's why I'll be voting McCain if Hillary doesn't get the nomination.
Go Hillary 08

It's sad that you cast your vote based on campaign slogans.

you know, that is rather sad. I too am getting pissed at all the slogans people are throwing around as justifications for votes.

You are kidding me? You think Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have good voting records?
You think John Edwards was a good candidate? Capital punishment, voting for the Iraq invasion, not proper healthcare?
How dare you assault people personally when you yourself are such a hypocrite and a fool.
