wasn't that amazing.....we did the same thing several years ago.....the skylon is a great location because you can then watch them from all the other surrounding towns.

It rained all day when the fireworks went off the other day when I was there so they only did them for about 3 minutes then stopped :-(
Going on the Maid Of the Mist while it was lightly raining was not as good as a nice sunny day.
