Hello, KH! This is Edu, from Brazil. I few months ago I watched this awesome review you put together and I decide to purchase this camera. I love my Sanyo Xacti very much. It works really well, BUT I'm having a whole lot of trouble when it comes to watching the videos on my Windows XP PC. I've extensively googled about some effective codec but I just could't find anything that actually works. Now I come to you to ask you if you might have a solution to my problem. I hope you do. Thanks so much.
Oh yeah, and one more questions...is there record button on the remote control? Just making sure... I am planning to buy this camcorder for Xmas. Thanks in advance!
From what I've read the 1010 doesn't have remote control though... that's the only thing I didn't like in the 1010. I definitely need the remote control. Thanks for your prompt answer, kinghuman!
Great review... i think i knew more about this before i had ever heard of it. What a fucking cock you are. King of the cocks more like. Please don't think about reproducing will you!
Hi, Kinghuman, your informations are very useful for me. Can you tell me about Sanyo HD 1000, is it made in EU or Made in Japan? Look forward for your reply.
King Human, you mentioned a few comments below the SANYO HD1000 Can shoot in Blu-Ray quality, thats not exactly true as Blu-Ray standard is full 1080p, while the sanyo can only push 1080i, which is much lower. - Just thought I would point that out since your not a professional reviewer. Best stick to your slap head comedy.lol =D
What you said is not exactly true either. 1080, is 1080 res wether it is Interlaced or Progressive. The resolution and quality is the same. The difference is in "P" each line is refreshed in each pass making this better for sports or fast moving objects. The "I" is interlaced so every other line is refreshed making it not as good for sports or fast moving objects. The information, res and quality is similar.
YES! It has several definition settings including a Youtube quality setting. Basically, there is a Youtube quality setting (small size), a DVD quality setting, and a HI DEF / Blu Ray quality. The battery on this camera is the best I have ever seen! It lasts forever! I have never yet run low on power during a shoot and I've done several all day shoots! But always carry a backup battery anyway.

King Human - the Sanyo HD1000 Does NOT have a YouTube setting, the lowest setting is 320x240 30fps, youtube videos are a disapointing 15fps half the frame rates, and no-where in the Sanyo HD1000 manual does it say it has a youtube setting unlike some other cameras, mainly Casio and Sony point and shoot cameras.
Come on bro, your supposed to know all, you king human..lol
Well, they call it WEB QUALITY setting. Its not exactly YT settings but it makes for faster rendering & upload to YT. Im not slpitting hairs & this vid wasnt a professional review. Just a user opinion so people could look into it further if they had interest.
That JVC camera really needs much light to be able to film indoors (it says all the time "Lens cap!" drives me crazy). And it takes ages to turn it on. I went to a convention and there when you get to that certained mood when you think you're really funny and have the courage to speak to people (I'm rather shy) you step forward and say"can you do that one more time" and then you try to start the camera but it takes so long that the mood changes
very good review king human, like your style n' sense off humour, adds a twist to your review of the camera dude.! Peace outa here.! take care, David :)
sorry you dont know enough about the camera to review it you nerd, lol. you didnt speak about the SANYO HD1000 ISO settings or shutter speed, low light Performance, etc.
Depends on the settings. With a 16gig card and set to Youtube resolution, maybe a zillion minutes. In full 16:9 hi def, about 4 or 6 hours is my guess. Im too lazy to look it up (just like yu!)
i got this panasonic dvd cam and its really gay i gotta use a dazzle dvc 150 to get video on the computer but id like to have one of them the way ur talking about it!
I kno wot yu mean. I hate having to decode before I can even get the raw video into Vegas! Plus, Im sure every step yu put the raw data thru, it degrades a bit.
Just those NY camera guys. They really try to pull the shit on people! Stay away from FotoConnection!!!! They tried to pull a fast one on me & their cust service SUX!!!!
Great job KH! Sweet camera... I've always been partial to Cannon but I hear tell the Japanese have us beat in quality ;) All the same Thanks for the fill in... and good shooting with the new toy.
BTW - I planted three trees for the enviroment this weekened (What did the rest of you do?)
well i love it another great video from you king its always good to say new videos from you bro and by the way thanks for the cools gift the stephson loved them

Kinghuman, I reaD FROM PROFESSIONAL REVIEWS THAT THEY PREFER THE 720p 60s then the 1080i . What do you prefer for image quality? thanks.
alchemist2012 3 years ago
and the people you try to film gives you that look "come on already", that's a really uncomfortable (sp?) situation.
I paid for that camera 800€ (1 200$), it was when it came first out...
