the cartoon theme IS used in the first film ("X-Men"). you can hear it when storm and cyclops save rogue or when storm flies of the elevator to fight toad. I didn't watch the cartoons, well, i gotta say i somehow did, but i was so young i wasnt concious of what i was watching, but even then, i remembered that theme and could tell that it was on the film as well.

I'd like to see them do a long winded story arch like the did on accident with Star Trek 2, 3, and 4 in the early 80's. But do several Xmen ish movies. However not all Xmen. What if one movie was Xmen one of Xfactor and another was either New Mutants or Spiderman 4 (or5 whatever number they'd be on when they got to it). But all three movies fitting into a larger arch like those old school trek movies did. What about something like that???

Well I think it's a bad thing when you change the character completely and make him the level headed leader type. In Xmen 2 and 3 he takes command of the team (don't care if they say Storm is in cahrge she doesnt act it)

Also there's plenty of great characters in X men besides Wolverine. Obviously he makes a good main character to work with but the others deserved more time like Beast and Storm.
