correct me if im wrong when u cam ur car it kills pressure in the engine or back pressure and hp power i know it make it sound like beast but dont it slow the car down alot

@willwreckniggas07 fuck thats the best comment ive read in a long time. go to wikipedia and search cams, realize what they do, and no, they do not slow your car down. cams increase the open-time of intake/exhaust valves, therefore giving you more air to mix with more gas which equals more powarz

depends on the year. first model year got the LS1 with 350hp and then they got the LS2 with 400.

hahahah well I sold this car :*( but ya the computer does all the correcting, and the check engine light was on due to the O2 sensors not being bypassed :)

I've always wondered, you know how the rpm drops when it first starts? Do you correct that by pushing down the gas pedal, or does the computer do it?

The GTO was the greatest thing that ever happened to Pontiac, and more in general to GM. Since the old days 1998+ with the competition that the Camaro agve the mustang and the firebird all in the middle it was great. Now Pontiac finaly got it right, and then they stop production, thats GM at its very worst.

Its absolutely terrible after watching an amazing car like this GTO. I am baffled to why GM cut Pontiac. Im praying that GM puts the G8 under a Chevy emblem. That car was just to perfect to cut after a year and a half.

This engine is in more then just a vette. Its also in the Trailblazer SS as well. Either way you look at it it is an AMERICAN engine.

well if you want to cam your goat with everything stock... the biggest you can get is a 224R cam, youll still need rods rockers and shit like that, then to install it is like another 500-700 bucks. if you wanna go bigger you are gonna need a new torque converter, tranny cooler and a lot more things but normally you can find a package. just gotta look! good luck man.
