Its funny cuz in Vera Ramone's book about Dee Dee, on the very first day that they bought Max as a kitten, she left it alone wiht Dee Dee. When Vera came home, she found that Dee Dee had put the cat on his lap while he smoked and wrote some songs, and he unintentionally burned off all of its whiskers and eyebrows! (The cat was terrified of him forever after that)
