How to create emoticons with Photoshop CS3

Hi, nice tuts, but When I use my gif its shows very small (19x19), how can i make it bigger? (50x50).

I save the image at 50x50 but it show small anyway, is there some type of color or format to use?

hey so i dont know why the gif wont play all the way till the end. and msn wont let me use it. it says it is not a valid image file. can u help me?

Check the movie around 2:37 I went to File> Save for Web & Devices, then around 2:48 I moved the mouse around the selection for GIF, JPEG, PNG, etc... select GIF then above there's a bottom "SAVE" try that export the emoticon you just made hopefully this helps for you ;P

i've made that the first time but it moves till the middle of the animation than stops. when i save the gif it says: "some names of the files being saved contain non-latin characters. These file names will be incompatible with some Web browsers and servers."

maybe this is the cause of the problem

dunno why but when im adding photos with the browsing thing i can only get one at once get do a slideshow like you and yes im pretty new to photoshop :P can you help me plz?

The best way that you can grab several pictures @ once is selecting all the pics you want to modify from the place your pics are and drop them into Photoshop, of course open Photoshop 1st.

If you guys do not add more than 1 layer the emoticon will come up small, you got to add more layers in order for Photoshop respect the size of the pixel.

I think I know what had happened to you two, seems that you are trying to just add a picture with out any other layers the emoticon for some reason doesn't respect the size of the pixel so the picture becomes smaller.

Am I Right?

The file should be 150 x 150 pixels and to save it you got to go to File > Save for Web and Devices > To the right you'll see that you can select GIF, save it.. that's it!

yeah for me too, I know how to use cs3 and of course gif but watching your vid I'd learn some missing steps about how to do the final thing which was the simplets however without watching your video I would be still trying to figure it out.

Remember you won't use Image ready for this, let's say that image ready merged with CS3, just go to Window menu and select animation so you can get the square where you'll be adding the pictures to make your animation.
