This is so deep and really true! I am scared to help the poor! I love this earth more then ANYTHING! I am afraid to rbreath the air tooooo! I Hope my kids can pet a polar bear! I was so sad when i realized i cannot bring the slamon up stream! I am mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, aunts and uncles, AND someones child! WE all buy and throw away, buy and throw away...buy and throw away! The people listening look bored but if i were them i would be in tears. I already cry at night.

This young girl is very powerful and many people need to rise up and take care of our young kids who are our future generations. I have a street ministry in Benton Harbor, MI (Saving Souls Ministry) and its devastating too me everyday how I see hungry children that go without food and the abandonment of animals that are homeless and starving in my community.....people we can all make a difference in a world that is in desperate need of change!

one side speaks without acting, the other acts without speaking, its all just a push and pull fight with the liberals and conservatives. when some problems are solved, others are made, and we're all just stuck in this middle ground. its not as bad as some people make it out to be, nor is it as stable.

Its commendable that his kid cares or her parents care enough to get her to stand at the potium, however the world has been feeding and supporting Third World countries for decades now turning them into Third World Welfare Countries. It is their own leaders who are depriving them of the support that is sent to them. This video may be politically correct but it is factually wrong.

AND NOT TO MENTION! Why do you think we have factory farms? And not old mcdonald farms anymore? Because their are too many people for those little farms to provide food for! Why do you think rainforests are being knocked down??? Because they use that area to raise animals for meat because there is not enough food for them. Overpopulation is what killing EVERYTHING. Think of what one person can produce and do everyday, and think about what 7/8 billion people can do. It's not pretty.

The world is destroying itself. People are tearing each other apart. This girl was trying to say that.
But we have too much hatred for each other in our hearts. We care more about our personal gain and the destruction of those who have different world views than us more than peace.
You just need to take a look at the faces of the people in the audience during her speech to see that. That clapping was a motion with the hands, not an act of reverence.

I agree with every word! Us adults ought to be dealt a swift kick in the pants for allowing the whole world to become a scary enough place to be that it brings this out, in this form. I have so many people against me for thinking this way and I am an adult/50/. My expression; however, is em-boiled in passion and hurt. She's wrong. Sharing will solve the issue? Nonsense, it will never solve anything. More you'll share with others, more the others will ask from you for nothing. Don't be naive, it is not THIS easy. I admit it is nice to listen to her speech (not for me, but for you, I bet), but these are but empty phrases and pretty words.

Very well, then, let's talk about it. Let's say these "rich" people will share with "poor" people. Is it a solution? No, it's not, you'll only cause these 'poor' people create some kind of an addiction to "rich" people and will live, pardon my bluntness here, as parasites. They must DO something to earn the food, money, whatever... so yea, give them job, give them the opportunity, but do not threat them like beggars, because it will not help them nor it will solve the problem.

I have no problem with sharing at all, in the end, I totally agree with Ian Anderson's "It is only the giving that makes you what you are". But here, in this very case, the giving will not help these people. So yes, help them by offering them job, work oppoturnities, anything, but DO NOT just give them something for nothing. It will only cause they will become useless to the community itself.

Your an adult and you think the way you do. Children don't think about all that you mention, they are pure of spirit and to them a hungry person needs food, they don't sit and evaluate whether that person is or will become a "parasite".
