  • or rather if 1 kg of tungsten travrling in a small orbit of 1 m at 100 000 m/s was released from that orbit to smash into the earth what would happen then

  • what would be the destructive capibility of 1 kg of tungsten traveling at 100 000 m/s compared to a atomic bomb

  • nice video..

  • wont happen in our life time. at least i hope, sucks for the future human beings. . .

  • TYes you are correc...the chances are really small for a continental/ global level destructive event in the next few thousand years. The good news is that it is really quite feasible to deflect these asteroids and comets, even with today's technology....perhaps I should put a video together on this.

  • i think you should, it would be quite interesting. thanks for all your wonderful videos jas2754

  • Hello ElseMush... I have some others coming soon. Thank You for the feedback ElseMush. Want to calculate how to deflect some of these objects using some approximations
