every rom needs internet access but all 1.6 roms let you skip the sigh in pages but if your gunna flash this rom DONT go on google and type fasttest v2.9 and flash the htccaly fasttestv2.9 its a hell of alot faster

Its not faster.

I've read numerous posts on XDA that it is in fact, slower.

And its not compatible with EVERY ROM like ext3 is.

@EmoGamer Because everytime I go through with it at the end when I launch apps2sd it just a blank screen for like 20 mins and in this time period I get multiple force close screens.I'm not the only one with this problem I went over to Buyashaka or whatever that dudes name who made the Super D 1.6.I went over there trying to find out what was going on and alot of people had the same problem with this rom.Maybe I f I take the rom off and then do Apps2sd and maybe it'll work.

Ummmm... you're not supposed to use the apps2sd APP!

Its automatic. If you use the app it will break everything and you'll get a bunch of force closes...

Backup For Root Users is how you back them up....

But you need an ext partition to store them and run them off your sd card.

Then you will NEVER have low internal memory =)

If you're still on JF Cupcake then I highly doubt you've ever upgraded your radio or spl in which case this ROM wont work for you. Flash Dwang's ROM. Its almost as fast as this and doesn't need an upgraded SPL. =p

nandroid, swithrom, or bart. if you are talking about restoring all your apps after flashing this ROM just look on xda forums on how to manually push the apps through ADB or backup your files by using mybackup/mybackupPRO, or backup for root users.

problem is I don't want to use ADB to push all my apps onto my SD card.. i got bart backup/restore and nandroid backup/restore on my recovery image Amon Ra...Do they both automatically push all the data settings and .apks from my SD card to my OS when rebooting?? i have many apps on my backup zip file, and i have to install every single of them manually after i switched ROMs..sucks...

Hmmmmm...

You can backup your apps with Backup For Root Users and take them with you when you flash a new ROM. But you will lose all of your settings within those apps.

Plus, Backup For Root Users installs them all automatically.

you can just use ADB to pull all the .apks and but them in a nice .tar file. then once you flash you can just push it back in and reboot. Nandroid and other backup options in the recovery menu just backs up your current ROM and it doesn't let you just install the apps. you should know at least some basic ADB commands or just search xda for the commands

.tar is like a rar file except it has .tar instead of .rar.

before you flash this rom just go on xda and find the commands on how to backup your ext partition then restore it after you flash this rom.

You might wanna flash Dwang's ROM.

Do a google search for it and look for the XDA link. If 90% as fast as this ROM so you're not really losing out on anything.

I also recommend flashing the radio first, and then spl and upgrading that ASAP =)
