Hi I have great PC (quad core, gtx 470, 4gb ram) but when I enable ambient occlusion it becomes really choppy. Besides the only three options are "Off", "Performance", "Quality", not "On" or "Off"

Any help would be great thaanks

@doblaze hey try both i have mine on performance and i think performance wud be better.. if u chose quality it wud make the smokes "better" which is not what u want u want to be able to see shadows

definately still works, you can stand in the smoke and see outlines of people like they've been drawn in like a sketch.

I have a nvidia, but OA does not give me the option to put OA on, just deactivate and activate. and wing ora d give options to the ON action programs, not because it can be because a friend works. Because it can be? tngo a GTS 250

You need to have antialias set to 4X or it wont work. do it inside counter strike.
