eeeeeh altough i'm not an expert , i think this situation isnt that difficult....

your allready whithin 1/2 nm of the airport and at a reasonable altitude for landing.....

i would'nt call this an emergency......its just unfurtunate that you cant taxi to your gate once landed...... but the ground crew can take care of that....

@r54life2 Nowadays what I do is find an airspeed that lets me fly the approach while maintaining a good descent rate that will stay on the glideslope. Once I'm 50 feet off the ground I begin the flare. Don't flare or throttle idle before this.Because you'll be too slow on your flare and your flare will be super high! Also, the airspeed I fly lets me keep under a 5 degree pitch up. Control your approach speed with attitude, altitude w throttle. If you have any more Q's just ask.Thx 4 comment!

@r54life2 in addition determining a final approach speed depends on factors such as weight, flap settings and weather conditions.

Reasons for bad landings are for example: idling the throttle too early or too high which makes an aircraft touch down hard; approaching too fast which makes the aircraft touch down late (after treshold) or hard; not flaring properly (flaring too low, touch down hard, flaring too much, touchdown late) e.t.c.

U just have to find the right combination.

Why you got the flaps out so soon? Trim for best glide attitude, then once you are sure you will make it then lower the flaps as needed!

Posky support for this aircraft under FSX is non-existent, due to the aircraft being made for FS2004.

yea posky's planes are ok, they look fly good but the rudder isn't as good as could be and ground operations are horrible on most 747s

Well, I have no problem with posky planes, maybe b/c I use them in FS2004, but the turning I am mastering, since the FDE's on POSKY planes are correct close to real world reactions, etc. withing the limits of MSFS.

the auto throttle gets a little but fustrating when doin an ils because when you hit minimums you have no controll

also the AP makes it hard to controll

so what you need to do is hit z to disengage ap then you need to create a keyboard command to disengage auto throttle
