Oh my, it's hard to post a comment about that performance. I sure like it : the voice is innately beautiful (not to mention original) and the technique incredible. The vocalises are nothing short of breathtaking and the ornaments delightful. Mijanovic's version is more haunting with her incredibly androgynous voice, but both are amazing. When will those two record a Handle duet album ??? I think the result would be worthwhile. Think about the recitatives they sing together in Bazajet...
My first time I heard her in Handel/Vivaldi was only 3,5 yrs later as Irene in Bajazet, which turned my life upside down within 10 minutes ("Qual guerriero!!!").
It is incredible fast! I heard Sonia Prina live at Munich and prefer that version with Ivor Bolton.
