  • Except it was set in London.

    They wouldn't have American accents....

  • this is some amazing camerawork for its time, and even now.

  • facil no hay espejo es otra habitacion y dejaron una ventana o mejor dicho una abertura en forma de rectangulo que funge como espejo ....easy there is no mirror it is a new room on the set and a rectangular shape that plays the trick of a mirror

  • How did they do to film Jekyll in the mirror ?

  • @tperomeoetjuliette According to my Film Professor, they just had him stand in an open slot, and when it came to the candles, they just placed everything else to make it look like a mirror

  • @MrPoison4Life Haha except when the 'reflection' turned away the camera didn't. Oops!

  • The close up of Fredric March from 6:00 to 6:27--swoon!!! So, so gorgeous.

And not just a looker--first class actor too.

It's a great movie--catch the whole thing if you can.

  • I think this is the VERY best version. Interesting filming, great sets , a hansome and sexy Dr. Jeckyll and a scary Mr. Hyde

  • The "mirror" is a fun bit.

  • ONe of the best adaptations of the story.

  • Pure Rouben Mamoulian and the innovations! Very interesting moment
