Wow - I love how this has the capacity to get everyone so angry, I love this video, and I love my memories of this event. I am unfortunately not surprised that the ironic aspect, the aspect that makes this such a "high concept" event and video, is lost on most people: we are not burning the flag here as a protest of specific U.S. American policies, but instead as a meta-protest, as a celebration of the RIGHT to protest, which we hold to be essential to being U.S. Americans in the first place.
