@xboxdude62 COD is good, don't get me wrong, but it ain't close to Halo. Halo spans games, books, comics, animated movies, action figures, and fucking legos. lol. Halo is a big enough story to just keep coming. Halo is spanning 9 games alone and all tie into a central plot line. The only COD games that really do that are the Modern Warfares. The you have the weird spin offs like Black Ops. COD is a good game to keep you busy but Halo wins the match.

I actually liked CoD many years ago, when CoD, Battlefield and Medal of Honor( people always seem to forget MoH, dunno why) were all about the Second World War.They were actually pretty good and nothing like this mess.(e.g. MoH: Frontline) These new "modern" games have way too much fanboys and kids saying that every other game sucks.Not to mention the repetitive and uninnovative story and the overlarge focus on multiplayer.Thats why I kinda lost my respect for those series.R.I.P. to those games.

If you watch some commentary as to why the made Halo CE, you would see that it was not so much because it was one but because it was the beginning of the series. This makes anniversay sequels kinda unlikely.

This may very well be how the prophet got there before the chief and the UNSC. This (The Ark) is the structure that began to create another halo ring to replace the one the chief blew up in Halo: CE. 343 Guilty Spark killed Johnson and the Chief killed 343 (lol). You people who've been speculating what that Forefunner artifact is need to do some Halo research on halo wikia. Truth was verifying with his own eyes that the Covenant have uncovered the Ark (or the portal to it).

Halo 2 (Battle of New Mombasa) and Halo ODST both start on Oct 20, 2552. ODST game ends Oct 21 with rescuing Vergil. Halo 2 ends on Nov 16 when the Forerunner ship arrives at earth. Between Oct 21 and Nov 17 Halo 2 events are occurring. The games aren't chronologically exact.

Maybe he found some other forerunner artifact and needed the engineers to hack it or open it and that artifact maybe the huge shiny object in the Halo 4 trailer. @021599jm Well, it's all a matter of opinion. Halo ODST doesn't have it's own multiplayer, but it comes with a disc that has all the HALO 3 multiplayer maps. Also, considering this is a stand alone game and it's not in a series of it's own, the story is really good. So I reckon it's a really good game, but Halo 3's better.
