Schumacher's last win at Monza was 2006, Vettel's first was in 2008. They were both German drivers racing for Italian constructors in both cases a Finn racing for McLaren finished P2 Raikonnen for Schumi Kovalainen for Seb and Robert Kubica finished third in both races in a BMW Sauber. I don't think that's just coincidence

@fedepinnaattosecondo as far as I can tell, those two anthems have been played 75 times in the history of F1. Twice for Wolfgang Von Trips in 1961 before his fatal crash, 72 times for Michael Schumacher between 1996 and 2006, and once for Sebastien Vettel in 2008 in his Torro Rosso Ferrari.

I know he is, but Lewis is the one that started it off as he was the one who went against team orders. in '07 the mclaren drivers took turns when it came to who got the last run in qualifying (when the track was at its fastest). It was Alonso's turn that weekend but even though he slowed down to let Lewis past him and even though the team said Lewis had to pit first before their final runs, Lewis didnt drive past alonso hence Alonso did what he did.

That kinda started it all.

the anthem is not "Deutschland über alles" but "Deutschlandlied" ... Else the song was written before even the first world war began, so even the first part of there's not a connection to me made between the origin lyrics and the national socialism in germany in the first part of the twentieth century.
